Muslim Charity through its local partners has established 16 “Safe Mother Houses” in district Gaibandha & Kurigram and trained 16 skilled birth attendants to serve the community, which has been the result of our ‪#‎HonouringOurMothers‬ campaign.

In 2015 more than 2,500 women received Antenatal Care and more than 500 mothers received Postnatal Services through these centres. Due to these important interventions the risk of neonatal death and complications during pregnancy have been minimised.

As part of our ‪#‎FromUKwithLove‬ initiative, a group of donors from the UK visited Bangladesh last month on a one-week guided tour to see how we utilise funds to create an impact to vulnerable communities in the country.
