MC provide five incubators to

Peshawar: A ceremony was held in the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar on 14th November 2015. The ceremony was held to handover five neo-natal incubators to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar by Muslim Charity.

“I am thankful to the donors for their help in donating an incubator to the neonatal care unit, which helped in saving the life of my little Aminah. Inshallah, the donor will be rewarded in this world and in the hereafter for their noble act in helping saving lives of premature children like my Aminah.”

On this occasion Prof Dr Aamir Ghafoor Khan, Medical Director and Dr Shahida Shaheen from MAPC (a local partner organisation of Muslim Charity) along with other dignitaries and officials from the Health Department and Muslim Charity were present.

The hospital administration not only appreciated the kind donations of incubators but also highlighted their past experience with Muslim Charity’s work and the noble causes being implemented in different parts of the world. The hospital management requested Muslim Charity to continue the good work and requested some focus to be given to the operation theaters which are badly equipped in far flung hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In their speeches, the dignitaries also thanked and paid tribute to the donors and supporters of Muslim Charity and urged them to continue donating to help make a difference to the lives of the needy.

Representing Muslim Charity on the occasion, Mr Haseeb Khan, Programme Officer, affirmed Muslim Charity’s vision of saving lives of mothers and children by providing assistance to needy hospitals and clinics in Pakistan. He highlighted the role that incubators, ambulances and other medical equipment play in saving the lives of vulnerable women and children, who are unable to afford private medical treatment.

Mr Haseeb Khan further explained and briefed the national media about the vital services provided by Muslim Charity to hundreds of thousands of women and children around the world.
