Junaid Jamshed launches new Muslim Charity website

On Sunday 3rd March 2013, Muslim Charity held its finale event of the 5-Day UK Tour with Junaid Jamshed and Amjad Hussain in aid of the Orphan and Vulnerable Children Programme. The event was held at the Cavendish Banqueting Centre in Colindale, London, and was attended by around 300 local associates, friends and supporters of Muslim Charity. The event was conducted by Rizwan Hussain of Islam Channel and special guests included the Lord Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Nizam Ismail, and Mufti Abdul Wahhab.

On this occasion, the Vice President of Muslim Charity, Junaid Jamshed, was requested to formally launch the new and improved website of Muslim Charity and he did so after a countdown and after reciting the Tasmiya (In Allah’s name I begin with, the utmost Kind, the ever-Merciful). The crowd applauded as the new website was formally launched and can now be connected via the existing URL mcnew.24livehost.com as well as the new simpler URL of mcnew.24livehost.com

The salient features of the new website include: a regularly updated news section; an interactive world map showing the areas of operation of Muslim Charity; an events section which will be updated as and when new events are scheduled; a Zakat Calculator; an improved online donations section; embedding of latest social media updates; and most importantly, in-depth information about all our programmes and initiatives.

The new website will help us further achieve our vision of creating a world of harmony where poeple of all backgrounds can appreciate life with good health, education and a livelihood.
