Participants raised a great amount for charity, almost £3,000, all money made from the tournament is going towards Muslim Charity’s Children of the World campaign, rescuing children from the streets and providing shelter and education to vulnerable children around the world.
Over the past few years the Masters tournament has been supporting Muslim Charity’s children of the world campaign, specifically street children in Pakistan and Bangladesh
Muslim Charity’s work for street children continues in Dhaka, Daulathia, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi and has now extended to Mwanza in Tanzania. Children on the streets are abused verbally, physically and sexually and involved in trafficking. Muslim Charity rescues vulnerable street children, reunites them with their family or where this is not possible our partners refers them to permanent homes and also support street children with drug addictions.
