Ride for a Cause

Join Muslim Charity for our London to Cambridge Bike Ride 2026 — a scenic and rewarding challenge for cyclists of all levels.

 

This 90km route takes you through the picturesque English countryside from East London to the historic city of Cambridge. Every mile you ride helps raise funds to support struggling families in Palestine, South Asia, and East Africa, providing them with essential aid such as food, clean water, education, and healthcare.

 

The ride is open to both brothers and sisters, who will cycle in separate groups, each guided by experienced team leaders and supported by a dedicated support vehicle.

All participants will receive:
Finisher’s Medal ✅
Food and refreshments at the finish line ✅
Support vehicle with drinks and snacks throughout the route ✅
Transport for you and your bike back to London ✅

Fundraising Policy: To confirm your place, 75% of your fundraising target (£112.50) must be raised by the event date (12th July 2026).
If this target is not achieved, the organisers reserve the right to cancel your place on the ride.

Here’s what your day in the saddle looks like (timings are approximate):

 

08:00 TEAMMC Cycles, London E1 - Check-in, safety briefing & ride start

 

09:45 Enfield (20km) - Short rest stop with refreshments

 

11:30 Ware (40km) - Midway stop for snacks, drinks & regrouping

 

13:30 Royston (60km) - Lunch stop & recovery break

 

16:00 Cambridge Central Mosque - Finish line celebrations & medal ceremony

 

18:30 Depart Cambridge (via minibus) - Return journey with bikes

 

20:00 TEAMMC Cycles, London - Arrival back in London

FAQs

The event is open to both brothers and sisters, who will ride in separate groups for comfort and ease of organisation.

No — this ride is open to anyone with a moderate level of fitness. With a bit of training beforehand, you’ll be ready to take on the challenge!

A road or hybrid bike in good working condition is recommended. Please ensure it has been serviced before the event.

A helmet (mandatory), water bottle, spare inner tubes, a small repair kit, snacks, and weather-appropriate cycling gear.

Yes — support vehicles will follow the route, offering drinks, snacks, and assistance with minor mechanical issues if needed.

Yes — your registration includes transport for you and your bike back to London after the event.

Yes — refreshments are available at each stop, and a meal will be served at the finish line in Cambridge.

Each participant must raise at least £150, with 75% (£112.50) raised before the ride. The remaining balance should be completed within two weeks after the event.
